What Is A Small, Hard Bump On The Inside Of Labia Minora Suggestive Of?
There s a small bump on the inside of my left labia minora. It feels kind of hard and it doesn t hurt to touch. It s also not a weird color. I ve recently started masturbating, so I m not too familiar with my vulva/vagina but I ve never felt that bump before today. Any suggestions for what it might be and how I can test it out? Should I tell someone??
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. What small hard lump you are complaining of present inside of labia could be 'Bartholin's cyst'. It would be advisable for you to take one course of antibiotics to control infection, if there is any. along with it, hot pad compression and Sitz bath are also useful. Maintain good genital hygiene. In case the problem still persists, you might require surgical treatment like 'marsupialization' for permanent cure. Kindly consult with Gynecologist in this regard for evaluation and management. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
