What Is A Small Lump Oozing Yellow Fluid Around The Anus Indicative Of?
Hello, about a day ago I noticed a discomfort around my anus area and when I went to look sure enough there was a small lump on the piece of skin that connects from the bottom of my vagina opening up to my rectum. Today I looked and it formed a white head, it's starting to hurt more and there's yellowish clear fluid that comes out when I apply pressure. Is it simply a pimple?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it seems that there is formation of a Perineal abscess and the reason seems to be due to infected gland in the area or can be due to bacterial accumulation leading to formation of pus under the skin.. You should clear the area with antiseptic solution and apply Antibiotic Ointment over it twice a day.. Take anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen or Naproxen for reducing pain and inflammation.. Keep the area dry and clean and wear loose fitting and cotton undergarments.. In case if it worsen or does not improve in 3 to 4 days consult a Proctologist and get evaluated and he can also advise Oral antibiotics and Anti-inflammatory painkiller for relief..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
