Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..
As per your complain a small painless bump on the inside of the lip can be a
mucous cyst also known s a
Mucocele and can occur due to either trauma to the
soft tissue of the inside of the lip leading to rupture of the duct of minor
salivary gland and accumulation of mucous/saliva into the soft tissues leading to bump formation..
It can also be due to clogging of the duct of the salivary gland due to stone formation..
It is a harmless condition and is also self limiting..
I would suggest you to consult a Pedodontist and get evaluated and in case of mucocele concentrated salt water gargles can help in regression of the lump..
In case if it does not improve surgical removal is advisable..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
