What is air on the liver a sign of? My friend has disease pancreas and is an alcoholic. Yesterday he had severe pain in is abdomen and had to have an ambulance take him to the hospital. First dr. s thought he had a blockage in his intestines, but after test, now they have mentioned air on his liver. What is this a symptom of?
