What Is An Alternative Drug To Progyluton For Heavy Bleeding?
Hi, I was diagnosed with pcos several years ago. My symptoms as it pertains to a period have been times of either prolonged bleeding (months without stopping only changes in the strength of my flow) or no bleeding at all for several months( has not occured in a long time). whichever the case the bleeding is usually accompanied by extreme pain and intense and frequent passing of clots (huge) as well as very heavy bleeding. i have done several tests and attempts have been made to stem/regularise the bleeding. the latest was prescribing progyluton which worked for a while, however it is no longer accessible. Can you recommend a substitute drug as i have been bleeding now for a while and passing these clots. the tests have shown that my ovaries are not inflammed nor polycistic and my hormone level are normal. I have 2 extremely small fibroids in the uterine lining which i have been told are inconsequential and there is no evidence of endo or ando metriosis. I am not diabetic
Hi, I can understand your concerns and would advice you to take any other Oral contraceptive pills as they all work the same way. Also for days you are bleeding heavily you can take tranexamic acid tablet. It reduces bleeding
