What Is An Indentation Below The Shoulder Blades On Back Indicative Of?

Hi started noticing as I reach over to my back, left side below shoulder blades I felt an indention. It isn't noticeable but as you press on it, it indents. Had my primary doctor look at it but doesn't know what it is. Do you have any idea and should I be concern?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have indentation below the shoulder blades on back. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like infection , abnormal anatomy like acromial dimples or disc problem . I would suggest you to consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan MRI along with physical examination . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics along with anti inflammatory . Doctor may recommend surgery in case of disc problem .
