Hi

Benadon contains Vitamin B6 also known as pyridoxine. Most of the drugs used in Tuberculosis treatment ,causes peripheral neuropathy especially Isoniazid and Rifampicin.

Peripheral neuropathy can present as burning or tingling sensation in the arms and legs. These symptoms can be prevented by supplementing Pyridoxine along with TB drugs.

Hence you have been prescribed Benadon to prevent drug induced peripheral neuropathy and hence continue to take the drug without fail. You can continue diabetic treatment along with these drugs.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards
