hi i am 19 years old i was in holland and i had intercourse with a worker , ever since i have been getting these wierd purple/pink dots on my arm with on some off them a rash around ! i strongly believe it is hiv or aids off some sort ? can you please help me out !!
Hi. As per your case-history i will like to give you following advice- 1. Don't panic first of all. Having intercourse may not get you hiv infection unless the partner has it 2. Skin rash may be due to any other cause and if it is due to sexually transmitted disease then most probable cause is syphilis and not HIV. 3. U should have following reports done- HIV test by elisa method, RPR or VDRL test for syphilis. ALso have the same investigation of the worker with whom u had intercourse. 4. Consult dermatologist with the reports. The skin rashes may be due to any other cause.
