What Is Causing Increased Temperature After Completing Antibiotic Course For Typhoid?
My son aged 21 months had temp for a week and blood reports suggested typhoid(80) and was prescribed ofloaxcin 100 plus cefixime 100 tablet one in the morning and half in the night for 5 days. He was okay from the next day we stopped antibiotic on Saturday after 5 days. Today afternoon he is having temp of 99 plus. What will be the reason?

Do check blood culture ( the best way) to see if the infection is gone
