What Is Causing Pain In Throat?

I have pain in my throat and can feel the joints moving or cracking. It hurts when I swallow and feels like a lump, even when I talk. It s very different than a common flu or soar throat, it s not the thyroid or glands because I was checked for all those things. What do you think it is?

Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query.
The lump or swelling and pain while swallowing can be because of the peri tonsillar abscess. Nothing to be panic, consult an ENT surgeon and get it evaluated. Mean while you can take a course of antibiotics like ciprofloxacin (if you are not allergic). Do saline gargling. I hope I have answered your query. Take care.
