What Is Causing Sore Throat And Sore Tongue?
I get sinus infections quite a bit and every time I get a sore throat I wake up with a sore tongue and the side of my tongue (varies from side to side) has lines and/or ridges on it. It will hurt all the way down the side of my tongue and into my throat. Any idea what this could be?

hello thanks for the consulting at hcm,,sore tongue could be due to apthous ulcers or fissured tongue,,so clean the tongue if is white coated with a soft brush,,if if has ulcers then apply topical anesthetics ad antiseptic ointment,, do salt water gargle thrice daily, for sore throat, u may need antibiotics and analgesics for sore tonsil,,so kindly take a consult with ent specialist..hp it helps,,tc
