What Is Causing The Bulging Vein In My Arm?
Hi,I have a very large bulging vein that appeared in my arm years ago,where blood is drawn. I bend my arm and the side of my arm starts to swell and hurts? What causes this vein to bulge? If i raise my arm its flat,but having arms down its a very noticable bulge of pooled blood.

Many a times due to piercing injuries or genetic predisposition, arteiovenous fistulas(blood directly passes from artery to veins bypassing capillaries) can occur in the blood vessels leading to bulging appearance of veins.
Kindly consult a physician and get a colour doppler ultrasonography . If it is very problematic then a ultrasound guided compression may help.
Dont worry your doctor shall guide you regarding this.
