What Is Causing Weakness, Cramping, Twitching, Swelling And Aching In Muscle?

I am a 45 year old woman who is dealing with all kids of muscle issues...weakness, cramping, twitching, swelling and aching. I have hashimoto thyroid but my hypothyroidism is controlled with synthroid. I am also perimenopausal. I had blood work wich showed a positive ANA (1/360 I believe it was). Any idea what could be causing these muscle issues? I have an appt with a rheumatologist in a few weeks. Thank you!

Do you have fever of any sort?
General weakness, cramps and early fatigue have quite a few differentials to be thought about, but given your age,and hypothyroidsm, it looks like you have vitamin D and calcium deficiency.Kindly get Serum Vitamin D,Serum Alkaline Phosphatase,Serum Calcium and Serum Phosphorus levels checked.
Great that u have a rheumatologist apponiment already !
Good luck !
