what is diffuse bulging annulus and bilateral mild facet hypertrophy. there is mild central canal stenosis. there is moderate narrowing of the foramen on the right and mild on the left.-(at L3-4))-there is diffuse bulging the annulus with bilateral mild facet hypertrophy and degenerative change, ligamentum flavum thickening is seen.-(at L4-L5) INTERPRETATION-There is still mild bulge of the annulus at multiple levels from-(L2-i3 to L5-s1) mild centra canal stenosis is noted at-(L2-i3 and L3-14)-Variable narrowing of the foramen is identified as described above.On ThE X-RAYS-small anterior spurs noted on the lumbar spine.there are some scattered calcification in the abdominal aorta.

They are sort of a fluidly and so needs a structure to contain within , called annulus. On pressure on the disc center the annulus bulges as you can see in a balloon filled with water .
