I am 43 years old with a history of 2 miscarriages. My last periodwas June 11th. My breasts are sore and I have some cramping and pressure in my lower abdomen, bloating, and more discharge than normal . I took 3 home pregnancy tests and they were all negative. My cycles run from 23 to 26 days. Is there a possibility of me still being pregnant?
Though at the age of 43 the pregnancy is not impossible, the chances are rather less. Moreover all three pregnancy tests you have taken are negative. So you are most unlikely to be pregnant.
Your missed period could be due to perimenopausal changes. You are approaching your menopause. So for a couple of years you may experience irregular menses. When you do not get the menses for 6 months at a stretch, you have to accept that you have landed in menopause.
All the symptoms you have described (except soreness in the breasts and excessive vaginal discharge) are not cardinal symptoms of pregnancy. However, your pregnancy tests have ruled out the pregnancy. Still if you want to be doubly sure, you may go for Beta hCG test.
I hope this helps you.
