What Is Laser Clot Busting Treatment?

ive got mild stroke 1year ago, got half paralyzed but i do my accupuncture n pt soon can walk and do everything except still my half body still numb.But i move all my doc said on my ct-scan still have blood clot but small only!i read about laser clot busting is it help me if i undergo with that kind of laser? thanks ....

I read your question carefully and I am sorry about the symptoms you are experiencing.

However I believe you must have misunderstood what your doctor explained (or he wasn't able to explain it clearly). I don't think he referred to the clot (small clot can't be seen on CT), he meant that the stroke, the area damaged by the stroke is small. The clot has dissolved by now, it does during the first days, the thing is that if the vessel is blocked for 6-12 hours the area which receives no supply at all is irreparably damaged, its cells die from lack of oxygen. So some damage can remain, in your case fortunately it is small, causing only numbness and no paralysis.
The laser clot busting is for chronic clots in the veins, not for the clots of typical stroke which are in the arteries and washed out and dissolved due to the higher blood pressure in the arteries.
