What Is Life Expectancy Of Person With Prostate Cancer Recuperating From Pneumonia?
My 90 yr. old Dad was diagnosed thru rectal exam,KUB and PSA with prostate cancer in the Philippines .He has medicare here in US,but not covered in the Philippines.He is now recuperating from pneumonia and is still on antibiotics.My question is ...is it worth bringing him back here in US for management of his prostate cancer at his age.No biopsy was done yet because of his condition.Will all the procedures be worth his quality of life at his age?It's too expensive to have all of this test and and hospital bills in the Philippines.Will the travel back to US be worthwhile to extend his life?
