what is mild fatty liver? skin gets high itching. it makes scratches on the skin. age-68 sex-female sonography report says mild fatty liver.

Hi.. Fatty liver is a reversible inflammatory condition of the liver where the fat cells get deposited in the liver.. It occurs mainly secondary to alcoholism.. Fatty liver is usually asymptomatic, but itching may indicate that you may be having jaundice.. You need to get a few blood tests to see if you do have jaundice.. Report to the gastroenterologist with the reports or you can chat with the doctors here to see if the reports are normal..
