I recently visited my family practitioner and he did an EKG the results were as follows: SINUS RHYTHM RSR{QR} in lead V1/V2 consistent with right ventricular conduction delay Borderline ECG. He wants me to follow up with a cardiologist . How serious is this and can you explain what might cause it ?
Hello, thanks for using HealthcareMagic . I had gone through all the details posted. your EKG is suggestive of RBBB( right bundle branch block) common causes for RBBB are physiological, COPD, pulmonary embolism, rarely MI.
the cause for RBBB in you depend s upon other symptoms and history.
most of the times it is physiological. just consult a cardiologist so that other causes to be ruled out.
Hope this helps..
