What Is My HIV Test Result Suggestive Of?

Hi Doctor, I have done my HIV test and got the result as below - TEST RESULT UNIT REF ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- HIV (1&2) 0.07 OD Ratio Negative : So, I can see I have 0.07 unit in my blood, does that mean i have a chance to grow it in future or its the default something value always persist in human blood? Hello,

OD means optical density, it is not the amount of organism in blood. So OD 0.07 result is negative for HIV. If your HIV report is negative as mentioned in history than don't worry about HIV and don't false interpret OD meaning.
