Hi I have had problems with my diaphragm for seven years and othe muscle problems. My doctor send me for an Mir in case it is ms. My Mir says large number of punctate peri ventricular white matter hyper intensities seen in both cerebral hemispheres involving the centrum semi ovale and sub cortical u fibres. A few small pericallosal nodules. Then impression says extensive white matter changes. In the correct clinical context this could represent a demyelination get process such as ms. No suspicious enhancement that would suggest active demyelination at this time. Could you explain. Thanks. Worried sick
From your description, I am of the opinion that you might be having MS. Kappa flc and homocysteine levels should be gauged too. Have your blood work done for this. Pregabalin along with Mecobalamin tablets would definitely help.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Ashish Ranjan, General & Family Physician
