Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I was having pain in my thigh. A MRI was done in my right femur without contrast. Multiplanar MR imaging was performed through the right femur. Findings: The marrow signal appeared normal throughout. No peiosical reaction seen. No marriow edoma. No fracture line evident. The skeletal muscle signal characteritics appear unremarkable. Periosseous sot tissues appear unremarkable. The suhscutaneous and deep soft tissues appear unremarkable. No additional abnormality seen. Impression: Unremarkable MRI of the right upper leg without gadolinium. No acute osscous process seen. I TRIED TYPING THIS FROM A SHEET GIVEN TO ME. I still feel the pain when I sleep on the right side too long, and it goes down to my knee a little sometimes. What could it be!
Based on the history you have shared, the report is normal mostly and the pain can be originating from nerve so nerve conduction studies may be helpful but OTC analgesics like acetaminophen or Ibuprofen can be used along with nerve pain suppressants like gabapentin.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
