my father is 72 years old. he is confined in the hospital. Coughing and blood goes out from his mouth every time he coughs. First X-ray test says There are fibrohazed densities seen in the left upper lung field. Haziness in the lower lung field is observed. second X-ray test result discloses moderate of the haziness and patchy infiltration in both upper and lower lobes. this has the tendency to become confluent in the right. Heart is normal.. What does it mean?

What Is My X Ray Report Suggestive Of?
Hello, Most probably it will be an old and healed infection like old tuberculosis. Consult a pulmonologist for expert opinion. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
