Hi, After doing and X-ray test I got these finding from the test. Findings: Single AP view of the chest is submitted fro evaluation. The hear is not enlarged. Mild perihilar vascular prominence. The visualized osseous and soft tissue structures are grossly unremarkable. What is Mild perihilar vascular prominence?
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. The following conclusions can be drawn based on the chest X-ray report you have posted. The x-ray report seems to be normal. Heart and lungs are in normal shape and size. There are no bony or soft tissue lesions seen. Mild perihilar vascular prominence suggests that the certain blood vessels are showing mild enlargement. It could be commonly due to smoking or as a result of infection of respiratory tract present previously. Otherwise, report doesn't state any gross abnormality. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
