Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi Sir., I had undergone endoscopy today and Doctor found there is Hpylori infection. Also my SGPT is 88 and SGOT is 45. And C reactive protein is 16.. I am told to take nexpro 6 tablets and udiliv 2 tablets . I m confused... Plz suggest whether I should get tested again or is it fine to take tablets.. Plz suggest..
Hello dear I understand your concern No need to test again. I would suggest to go for urea breath test to confirm the h.pylori infection if you have doubt. It is treated by omeprazole and the antibiotics clarithromycin and amoxicillin for 1 week. But i do not think you need udivil as there is no so much high enzyme level Avoid stress, take small frequent meal rather than large meal Take more butter milk and yogurt Take diet like banana, rice, toast and applesauce. Consult the gastroenterologist and take proper treatment. best regards Dr. Sagar
