Hello,
Well, reports might suggest anything but without correlating with clinical symptoms it is always a blind shot play for anyone.
Arthritis meaning, Inflammation of the joint. Which can occur due to ageing and also due to old injuries.
You have a mal-tracking of the
patella and mostly your pain should be due to
patellofemoral arthritis.
There is always a chance of having too much inflammation of the joint if it's not taken care properly.
I will give simple advice. Start
physical therapy now so you get to do correction of the patella movement track with VMO exercises.
Also, mobilization of the patellofemoral joint will allow the joint pressure to release and allow healing to occur.
Use hot water fermentation is the pain is not comfortable to bear with. But please start exercising so after 90 days.
If your exercise prescription was strong under a physiotherapist then your arthritis and chondromalacia patella might not be present on the x-ray.
To check the chondromalacia Patella we need an aeroplane view x-ray.
Start exercising under a guided physical therapist so the recovery and improvements come sooner.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
