Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Respected Doctor, I am 28 yrs old male. I go for semen analysis. Following Parameters are written on the report: Volume: 1. ml Color: Creamy White Sperm Count: 50 million Active: 30% Sluggish: 15% Inactive: 55% Pus Cells 8-10 HPF Kindly tell me about the results of the report
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. I have undergone through your semen analysis. You have low volume and slight high pus cell. Other parameter: count, motility are with in the reference range.
I would suggest to consult the urologist and undergo examination, semen culture and urine tests to confirm the infection. If infection will be there, it should treated by the proper antibiotics. Avoid stress, take high protein diet with green leafy vegetables and fresh fruits, drink plenty of water, do regular exercise for 45 to 60 minutes in the morning followed by yoga. Avoid smoking and alcohol. Further treatment will depend on the cause.
Hope this may help you. Contact further if follow up needed.
Best regards, Dr. Sagar
