What Is My Test Result Suggestive Of?

ancillary study with PA film taken last 9/6/2016 shows clear apices.the rest of the chest structures are distorted due to positioning. the superior mediastinum is not remarkable. the osseous thoracic cage reveals no significant bony abnormality.What does the result and the impression mean?

The X ray film was taken while you were not positioned properly, resulting in distortion of the image.

The clearly visualized parts of the lungs, mediastinum (the space between both lungs), and thoracic cage bones are within normal.

This is an insufficient examination. If you are having chest symptoms the film should be repeated.
