What Is My Ultrasound Report Suggestive Of?

I just received my ultra sound report and I am reading that my endometrial thickness is 19mm compared to 5mm. It also says there were no significant abnormalities and no masses in my endometrium and Myometrium. What does the thickness mean and is it cause for concern?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi welcome to the health care magic

Here your endometrial thickness is more, your age and clinical history regarding bleeding per vaginum should be elicited...

Here for this endometrial hyperplasia like presentation you might prescribed progesterone pill for this condition....

Your pelvic examination should be done and regular follow up needed

Considering your clinical status, age etc if needed curretage can be done to investigate for histopathological examination

Take care

Consult gynecologist for examination
