What Is My Ultrasound Report Suggestive Of?
I m 29 yrs old and carrying for the 2nd time..No history of abortion. My gestational age according to lmp is 19 weeks but biometral age according to ultrasound is 18 weeks... In my anomaly scan doctor said there are 3 choroid plexus cysts ( max size 6.8 mm) in my kids brain... she also said there s no other gross anomalies... as per her advice i gave for quadraple test... is ther anything to worry??

Choroid plexus cyst are cyst seen within choroid plexus of brain. Brain has pockets caller ventricle with a layer of cells and blood vessels called choroid plexus. It has role in producing cerebrospinal fluid. Quadraple test is must.
