What Is My Ultrasound Result Suggestive Of?

Sir/Madam, On day 4, endomet.thickness thin.No residual cyst. On day 10, 7.3 triple lined, Right ovaryian follicle MSF, Left 18.4X18.2mm. On day 12, 8 triple lined, Right ovaryian follicle MSF, Left 21x22.4mm On day 15, 8.4 triple lined, Right ovaryian follicle MSF, Left COLLAPSED FOLLICLE. Comments: Minimal free fluid seen in the POD Region. Please tell me What is collapsed follicle? What is free fluid in POD? Do i have chances of pregnancy? Now egg is in fallopian tube? Still how many days should i be in contact? Whether i ovulated or not?

Hi,

Collapsed follicle suggests ovulation (rupture of a mature follicle in the ovary to release an ovum in the peritoneal (abdominal) cavity. This process releases some free fluid in Pouch Of Douglas (at back side of the uterus... & signifies ovulation.

Ovulation is a must factor for conception... & yes... you have a chance of conception within maximum 3 days of ovulation... provided unprotected sex is done within the period.
