Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
An ultrasound shows 1.1 cm anterior intramural myoma with an anechoic cyst within the right ovary measuring 8 mm. I am 84 yrs. old, 5 4 , 125 lbs., reasonably good health. I am experiencing vaginal pain infrequently usually around 10:00 a.m. I have had sharp vaginal pains but they have abated. Am seeing gynecologist in 2 wks.
The ultrasound result shows a single fibroid that grows between the muscles of the uterus with a simple ovarian cyst. It may be a non-cancerous growth of the uterus.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
