Hi. Good to see your concerns about your health. So far as your question is concerned, albumin is an improtant protein that makes up for the most of the oncotic pressure in the blood. Also it performs many other vital functions including transport of various chemicals in the body that are bound to it. Albumin is usually reabsorbed in the kidneys and none of it is secreted in urine normally. If your urine examination is showing albumin, it is some thing that must be taken seriously. For making a conclusive diagnosis further info is needed like history of fever , body swelling , rash , joint pain, any previously known problem of kidneys etc. Few more investigations may also be needed. So my advice at the moment is to visit a nephrologist as early as possible for further workup and evaluation and management. Wishing you best of health. Regards
