What Is Normal Range On The BUN Test Score?
I am an active 72 year old white male. Non Meat eater, non smoker, infrequent alcohol and no drugs. I am on one prescribed medicine (simvastatin 40 mg). My BUN test Score came back at 24. All other tests were normal? What is then normal range? Thanks

Although, the BUN is 5-24 in normal range. Still, a minor variation in this value may be normal in some individual. Still, your value seems to be on boarder line higher side.
Hence, you may take care:
- Avoid alcohol
- Increase your liquid intake and keep yourself properly hydrated
- Avoiding excessive weight gain and losing some weight, if you are overweight
