What Is Prognosis For Brain Stroke?
Hi Doctor My father got a major brain stroke and now he is right side paralysed. He is in Singapore now as he was on a visit to there. Can you please let me know the best way for his recovery. WE want to bring him back to India and do the treatment. Thanks Nibedita

If there is no associated risk factor like diabetes, infection, then the prognosis is excellent but for this right treatment should have given in time, physiotherapy also helps a lot, in the stroke the initial period is important for recovery and that is called window period "Penumbra" hope this helps
