What Is Pulsing Feeling In Right Upper Arm Suggestive Of?
My husband (age 65 and in good health) worked out this morning and has done some outdoor work today in the heat. His right upper arm right at the tricep is pulsing exacting along with his heart beat. Dehydration? Anything else it could be? Serious? He feels fine.
Hello thank you for writing us here. Don't worry, the pulsing twitching is because he worked out and because of heat, the vessels dilated and causes such twitching . also because of workout he could have lost some electrolytes which caused muscle twitching which could appear like pulsatile twitching like that of beating heart. Just give him plenty of water or an energy drink which contains the useful electrolytes. He'll be alright within an hour or so. God bless you and your husband.
Beat regards, Dr Gunjan
