Hello,
Welcome to Health Care Magic. I read carefully your query and I understand your concern.
From your blood
liver functions tests I see that you have a higher SGPT,
SGOT and
total bilirubin level, the level of alkaline phosphate (AP) is at normal range (44-147 IU/L).
The higher value of SGPT, SGOT and bilirubin is a sign that there is a damage liver.
The usually cause of very high value of SGPT and SGOT is a
Acute Hepatitis, to confirm that you should do lab tests that detected the viral antigen and antibody ,the most common is
Hepatitis B and for this the lab tests detect antigens( e.g. HBs Ag) and antibody(e.g. Hbs Ab).
Other reason for the high elevated functional test is
gallstone, but you have a normal value for AP, for a better determination I recommend you to do an abdominal
ultrasound.
For a better treatment you need to determine the cause of this problem, because different cause has different treatment.
For a better evaluation, I recommend you to go to a gastroenterologist.
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.
Kind regard,
Dr .Marsida Janko
