Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Is Sore And Painful Left Breast Indicative Of?
My name is Linda. A couple of months ago I had a mammogram and it was normal and no changes since my last one. For about 3 days my left breast is very sore. When I move or work it hurts. Today has been the worse day and it doesn t seem to be getting any better tonite. During the breast exam for years the doctor says he feels something at 6:00. Nothing ever shows up. In the past I have had an ultra sound and nothing shows up there. I haven t taken anything for the pain. Not much on taking medicine. I do have ibuprofen . Would a heating pad help? Feels like the inside of my breast is bruised . If not better by Monday I will call the doctor but I have never had this and I know it can t be serious but it is uncomfortable. What do you think it could be and what can I do that might help. Thought maybe a hot shower might help.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, in my opinion just wait and watch for this because it may not be anything wrong pathologically but it could be some nonspecific one even no need to try any analgesic no need to worry about this hope this information helps
