What Is The Alternative Solution For Peri Menopausal Symptoms?

I have been prescribed progyluton for peri menopausal symptoms and felt very ill on the first dose.... I have a lot of anxiety and do not know whether I should continue with it or throw it away and look for an alternative solution... Also the side effects indicated worry me even more
