What Is The Average Thickness Of Endometrial During A Normal Month Cycle?
Hello Doctor, I want to ask you that what is the average thickness of endometrial during a normal month cycle if I am not pregant. Me & my husband have been trying for an year to have a baby & I am not sure if I am pregnant or not. The thickness of my endometrial is 13.5 mm does it mean I can be pregnant as I have heard normally during a month the endometrial thickens uptill 8mm only. I am confused, I would be thankful if you can clear me this doubt. Thanks you & have a nice day.
Hi there thanks for posting your query at HCM I would like to explain to you the that the thickness of the endometrium varies during a cycle 1. Durind day 1-4 that is during the the phase of mensturation it is only 1-4mm thick 2.During the proliferative [phase that is 4-014 day it varies from 4-14 mm in thickness 3. And during the secretory phase it varies from 15-28 mm in thickness and for the fertilizes ovum to get implanted its thickness should be 15 to 18 mm Thus in this case the thickness of 13.5 is slightly less which after consulting the gynecologist, who would advice injection Hcg at the time of ovulation that can help on increasing the thickness of endometrium and implantation Please consult your doctor before taking any step Take a care
