What Is The Best Diet For A Typhoid Patient?

My wife s suffering with typhoid and doctor have prescribed her not to take oily food. She have become very weak and her blood pressure has gone down to 90/60. The doctors have give her medicine through drip today but she still feels weak. Please advise on the type of food I can give her

Hello!Thank you for posting here.

Have small meals frequently.Increase your liquid intake. Have only soft food.Avoid hard and spicy food stuffs. Take bland food that can easily be digested by the body .Reduce fiber foods. Fats and oils should also be avoided.

Liquid intake in the body must be increased.Include salty juices, diluted fruit juices, electrolytes, milk and eggs in the patient's diet.
