Hello dear Understand your concern Best medication for abortion is mifepristone plus misoprostol. It is safe and successful if used under guidance and observation of obstetrician for termination of intrauterine pregnancy of less than 9 week. Dose and schedule should be decide by obstetrician. Standard protocol is as follows: Day 1: Mifepristone 600 mg orally Day 2: Misoprostol 400 ug vaginally by obstetrician, if needed another 400 ug vaginally/orally after 4 hour. Day 14: USG should be done for confirmation of incomplete abortion for safe practice. Rest for 24-48 hour, analgesics, proper pelvic hygiene should be maintained.
