What Is The Best Medicine For Chronic Cough?
My husband has a very deep cough and was given the Prometh/cod 6.25-10 cough syrup. Will it help him to cough the phylm up or is it to supress the cough. He wants something to help him cough and loosen the phym up. He has CAD (had quad by-pass in April 2012.

It should help to suppress the cough and cough up the phlegm as well (if any present). But I would recommend you send a sample of his sputum to the laboratory and get a chest x- ray conducted.
