What Is The Best Medicine For Migraine Headache?

I have had a migraine headache all day, been taking Ibuprofen not seeming to help much, I took IB three hours ago would I be safe to take a butalbital/aspririn/caffeine cap now. My sister has them for her headaches and has offered one to me to help.

I would suggest you to consult neurologist for proper diagnosis and to know the exact cause of migraine . Doctor will take history and order CT scan or MRI to find out the cause . Doctor may prescribe migretil tablets they containagents like fioricet , verapamil, propranolol or an antidepressant . Doctor may also recommned you preventive therapy . For now avoid bright light , loud sound and exposure to sun light . Aslo do relaxing exercises like meditation .
