MY SON IS SUSPECTED TO BE SUFFERING FROM TYPHOID FEVER...THE DOCTORS HAVE PRESCRIBED WIDAL TEST TO CONFIRM...BUT ITS ALMOST CERTAIN HE IS TYPHOID AS ALL THE TYPICAL SYMPTOMS ARE PRESENT. MY SON HAS NO APPETITE AND IS REFUSING ALL AND EVERY FOOD AND DRINK POSSIBLE. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

ciprofloxacin 500 mg for 7 days is generally given in typhoid fever.
cefixime is also good for typhoid fever.
