hi doctor.. i m female nurse -age 27 working fulltime, happily married since 4 yrs.. i was delaying my pregnancy due to my studies and other family issues.. now i m trying to conceive for 3 months and relationship during my fertile days.. my menstural cycle is 28-30 days.. last periods due was on october 31st but i mensturate on 6 november... because i am trying to conceive and reduce my excercices {jogging and light weight training}.. i dont know why there is delay but the home pregnanacy test negative so i was not expecting to b pregnant.. my family planning method.. my husband withraw before ejaculate , condom and douching..and relatonship on nonfertile days .. my questions is : do i have to consult any gynac now.. or can i try for few more months. if not then consult a doc. how long will my body adapt in this situation..
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. What you are doing is absolutely right and you can continue to have unprotected intercourse without adapting any family planning methods every-time, even on non-fertile days. This is because, ovulation may be little late sometimes. Also, you can continue with exercises as it would improve circulation to organs in the body and keeps tissues healthy. Stay calm and keep trying as it may take about 3 to 6 months on an average to conceive. In case it doesn't happen with sincere trying for 6 months, it would be ideal to consult Gynecologist and seek opinion regarding the same. Hope the information provided would be helpful.
