What Is The Best Way To Extract A Foreign Object That Has Entered Sinus While Having Tooth Extracted?

Hi. I have a foreign object in my sinus. It's a piece of the drill the dentist used to extract my tooth for an implant. It broke off and went straight into my sinus.

What is the best way to extract it? My dentist is taking me to a another specialist that apparently goes in through the nostril to extract it.

What about a simple sinus flushing. Would that work?

HELLO AND WELCOME TO HCM.
BAD LUCK THAT U LANDED UP WITH THIS PROBLEM. ITS VERY UNCOMMON BUT CAN HAPPEN. ANY FOREIGN BODY IN SINUS, IF ALREADY CONFIRMED VIA CT SCAN, CAN BE REMOVED ONLY SURGICALLY. U NEED TO GO TO AN ENT EXPERT.HE WILL REMOVE IT ENDOSCOPICALLY.
