What Is The Best Way To Remove Pyogenic Granuloma On Head?

Hi, I have a small pyogenice granuloma on the side of my head as a result of pregnancy; what is the best way to remove it? Is there any 'home remedies' I can try. PS my baby is 4 months now and I've had this PG for nearly a year now; my own Doc advises it may go away on its own but may take a year to do so.

Hi there.
Pyogenic granuloma is a misnomer & in fact is a tissue reaction pattern.
I presume it bleeds on touch or combing etc.
I don't advocate home remedies but people have tried agents like garlic which act as a topical irritant & 'chemical' cautery much as an acid would.
However, I strongly recommend getting it looked at by a dermatologist & getting it removed using a hyfrecator.
If left alone, I feel it could grow more as opposed to involute by itself so I will have to say I disagree with your doctor on this point.
