what may black spots indicate on an ultrasound of the abdominal region? my 9 year-old daughter just had one today, wondering what the possibilities may be... the technician seemed to be measuring spots? just wondering and a little anxious, of course. thanks.

hello! Everything on an ultrasound is black/white/grey- whether its normal or abnormal, with measurements taken for normal and abnormal organs/lesions.
Hence its difficult to know whats going on with this little information.
Do not worry yet, though i know its easier said than done..but hopefully all will be fine.
