What Is The Burning Sensation In Chest That Radiates To My Arms?

I am 43 yrs old ,Since last year 2010 in July I fanted and ihave burning chest pains that goes through my arm making it weak and also the back pain. the doctors said it is muscles between my ribs but till today they dont heal .I am worried may be its my heart please help.

Hi welcome to HCM...

First let me know you this burning type pain can occur if you have gastritis like symptoms ...
It can lead reffered pain...
Omeprazole taken for it....

Second as per your doctor musculoskeletal pain could be cause ...
Here you have chronic pain so physiotherapy can be taken ...for stretching chest wall muscle exercise.....
If pain more analgesic can taken....

Here cardiac cause Seems to be unlikely.
Still you can do ECG or echo to rule out cardiac cause ...
Tread mill test also can be done....
